Self-guided Audio Tours
All audio tours are produced and narrated by local historian, and Salida Walking Tours owner, Steve Chapman. And they work offline, using your cell phone. After downloading your tour, explore when you're ready. An offline map is included.
With GPS autoplay, you can focus on your surroundings. Put on your headphones, or turn up the volume for a partner, tap on 'start', and let the tour guide you. If you wander in the wrong direction, you'll hear an audio alert, and you can follow the map on your screen to the next location.
*Please note that this is an abbreviated version of the guide-led tour. Some stories and stops are not included in the audio tour.
